Nazareth FFA Dominates District LDEs

On Wednesday, November 1, the Nazareth FFA traveled to Abernathy to compete in the district LDE competitions. The thirty-four students and ten teams competed very well in seventeen events and helped Nazareth win the meet as a whole. The advancing students will travel to WT for the area meet on Saturday, November 18. Congratulations to all participants!

Battle of the Bands

The Nazareth High School Band is entered into the battle of the bands contest. This week, they are competing against the Olton Band. You can vote once every minute at http://kcbd.pgtb.me/hvZF9r/m65wb. Voting ends on Thursday, November 7, at 3:00 p.m.

Holiday Arts and Crafts Show

On Sunday, November 19, the arts and crafts show will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Booths are 8’ X 10’ and cost $20 per booth. The last day to make reservations for a booth will be Saturday, November 11. For more information, contact Elaine Kern at (806) 945-2258 or Angela Fulkerson at (806) 344-8304.

 

Nazareth Cross Country

On Saturday, November 4, the Nazareth Varsity girls’ and boys’ cross country teams ran at the State Cross Country meet in Round Rock, Texas. The girls’ team consisted of senior Caitlin Kleman, junior Blakely Gerber, sophomore April Schmucker, sophomore Amy Schilderink, freshman Kyanne Dunn, freshman Maggie Nelson and freshman Emma Kleman. The boys’ team consisted of senior Tristan McLain, senior Tate Schulte, senior Slade Gerber, senior Mike Schilderink, junior Brady Robb, junior Tristan Nelson, sophomore Brayden Dyer and freshman Ryan Heitschmidt. The boys’ team placed sixth, and the girls’ team brought home a gold medal.
