A new addition in Nazareth was recently completed at the home of Marlin Durbin on Highway 86 west of the intersection.
Durbin created the Ten Commandment stone replicas out of metal, and Danny Gerber and several others helped with the welding and putting all of the pieces together.
Helpers from the community gathered with Hall Committee members on Sunday, November 20, to start the demolition of the Community Hall Kitchen in preparation for the remodel.
The kitchen and hall will be closed through the remodel, and the committee is hoping to re-open in April with several new changes and improvements.

CHRISTIAN MOTHERS HOST ANNUAL TURKEY DINNER
Sunday, November 20th brought a crowd of several hundred to the Nazareth Community Hall for the Christian Mother’s Turkey Dinner.
This year, the chairmen for the dinner were Jeanie Birkenfeld, Ramona Schulte, and Lori Johnson. Other members of the organization cooked turkeys and pies, decorated the hall, washed dishes, served drinks and desserts, collected money for the meal, and helped out in the kitchen throughout the day.
The event also included a raffle and a craft show in the school cafeteria where booths of every type sold items varying from decorations to toys to jewelry.
Jeanie Birkenfeld posted to Facebook in regard to the day: “I want to thank all of the ladies who helped make the Christian Mother’s Thanksgiving dinner successful! It takes a great organization to feed over 600 people so smoothly! Thanks for your help and may God bless each of you and your families!
