RUNNERS COMPETE IN LUBBOCK MEET
Nazareth’s 14 cross country runners faced a rainy meet on Saturday, September 24th as they competed in the 1A division of the annual Lubbock Invitational.
The girls started off the meet in the beginning of the afternoon with their two mile course. The meet uses the same location as the regional meet, so the run was great practice for future competition. The Swiftettes were the first place team in the 1A division, and hopefully this win is a prediction of their potential success at the regional meet at the end of October. The individual results are as follows:
3rd – Caitlin Kleman
7th – Shania Schacher
11th – April Schmucker
22nd – Laci Backus
24th – Amy Schilderink
31st – Blakely Gerber
40th – Hallie Kleman
The Swifts followed the girls’ run with a different course lengthened to three miles for the 1A boys runners. The Swifts placed 6th overall as a team in the 1A division and their individual results are below:
10th – Brady Robb
29th – Slade Gerber
48th – Tristan McLain
56th – Tristan Nelson
70th – Mike Schilderink
76th – Brayden Dyer
77th – Tate Schulte

NAZARETH RELATIVE TO START WORK IN TULIA
Dr. Seth Wilhelm, son of Neal and Colleen Wilhelm of Nazareth, graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree and recently performed his residency in Family Medicine.
He will be starting his career at the Swisher Memorial Hospital in Tulia. The hospital’s Facebook page recently featured Dr. Seth Wilhelm in their weekly spotlight.
“Seth Wilhelm received his BS in Genetics from Texas A&M University before moving to Amarillo, Texas where he earned his MD from TTUHSC and completing his residency in Family Medicine. Having a love for rural medicine and having family in nearby Nazareth, Texas, Dr. Wilhelm is excited to start his practice in Tulia, Texas where he will be a true Family Medicine physician by seeing patients of all ages from newborn to geriatrics, and the whole family in between. In his off time, Dr. Wilhelm enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and hiking in Palo Duro Canyon Texas State Park with his dog, Ella.”
Everyone is invited to the meet and greet that will be held on Thursday, September 29th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to welcome Dr. Wilhelm to the area. It will take place at the Tulia Rural Health Clinic Lobby, 539 SE St. Tulia, Texas, and refreshments will be served!

He enlists the aid of the nasty nurse, Hilda Hatchet, and promises to marry her once he disposes of Lotta.
